Bock Vet Pharma

Capilex
Capilex is a revolutionary new approach to managing hairballs in cats. This once-a-day flavored soft chew gently breaks down the hairball, allowing it to pass naturally.

The I-Therm by KLD Medical

Certifect by Merial
Certifect is an advanced topical solution that provides proven flea and tick protection. Certifect adds a small dose of amitraz to potentiate the tick-killing power of fipronil. 

“It starts killing ticks within 6 hours, provides sustained tick-killing efficacy for a full month, causes ticks to detach from an infested dog, and kills adult fleas, eggs and larvae,” the company said.

Certifect is made for all dogs at risk for tick exposure that still need proven flea control.

Novartis

Atopica for Cats
Atopica for Cats is the first medication approved in the U.S. specifically for allergic dermatitis in cats. It is proven to significantly relieve itching and reduce skin lesions.

“Veterinarians and pet owners understand the discomfort and frustration of an itchy pet,” said George Gunn, BVMS, MRCVS, Division Head of Novartis Animal Health and Head, Novartis Corporate Responsibility.

“We are pleased to add Atopica for Cats to our proven family of Atopica products, offering an effective treatment for cats suffering from the extreme discomfort associated with allergic dermatitis,” Gunn added.

PARASTAR plus
PARASTAR plus is a new double-action tick and flea treatment for dogs. It combines two active ingredients, fipronil and cyphenothrin, to kill ticks and fleas in as little as one hour.

“Fipronil is the most successful adulticide in small veterinary medicine due to its broad spectrum of activity, excellent safety profile and its long residual performance,” the company said.

PARASTAR plus also kills chewing lice and controls mites. It is approved for all dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older. In addition, it’s waterproof and easy to apply.

Pawflex Bandages by Pawflex, Inc
PawFlex Bandages are non-adhesive, fur-friendly, super stretch disposable bandages that are water resistant, breathable, and maintain a comfortable natural fit. They are the first “all in one” bandage for dogs.

“PawFlex bandages are hands down the quickest and easiest bandages to use; no cutting, pulling, or peeling; just press to secure or lift to release,” the company explained in a statement.

There are 5 designs currently available, each created for a specific wound care area.

OraStrip QuickCheck Canine by PDx BioTech
OraStrip QuickCheck Canine is a quick, point-of-care device to detect the severity of periodontal infection in dogs.

“It’s the first detection and monitoring device for active periodontal disease in dogs,” the company said. “Now you have a powerful device for detection, monitoring, prevention, and compliance.”

OraStrip QuickCheck Canine can be used with or without sedation.

Advanced Formula Zymox PLUS by PKB Animal Health
Advanced Formula Zymox PLUS is engineered to manage the toughest chronic otitis externa cases – those due to antimicrobial resistant organisms, such as pseudomonas, that form complex biofilms.

"Until now veterinarians have been limited in their options when it comes to managing those otitis cases that just won't resolve or those which appear to clear only to return again,” Deirdre Putman, Marketing Manager for PKB Animal Health, said.

The Blue-Line Rotational Lift Table (RLT) provides new features and benefits for veterinarians and their patients.

“There are two modes that allow the veterinarian to decide the best configuration for each patient and the exam/treatment procedure required,” Bethany Hoppenthaler, Marketing and Brand Manager for Shor-Line, said.

“The Peninsula Mode is the standard exam configuration with the doctor on one side of the table and the client or technician on the other side, providing for patient control during examination. The Lateral Mode places the patient closer to the backboard where tie-down fixtures are located,” Hoppenthaler added.

The table is available in four colors and includes a foot switch, column switch and wireless remote.

K9-W8 Scale
