LAVC del NAVC 2011
Latin American Veterinary Conference

The LAVC del NAVC is uniquely crafted by the NAVC in coordination with the College of Veterinary Medicine of San Marcos University in Lima, Peru to serve the veterinary practitioner from Latin America.

In 2009 the LAVC was held in the the Conference Center of the Colegio Medico del Peru (CCCMP). Drs. Flavya Mendes de Almeida and Ana Lucia Crissiuma, both professors from Brazil, conducted a workshop on Neonatology and Care during Pregnancy. Both speakers conducted this workshop in Spanish. The Conference also featured three scientific tracks; companion animal medicine, food animal medicine and equine medicine and surgery.

Registrants from Guatemala, El Salvador, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Argentina, Venezuela, Bolivia and Spain attend the meeting. A commercial exhibit hall with booths offering the latest in veterinary products and services is also available to registrants.

The LAVC del NAVC will once again be held, as it has since 2005, in the city of Lima on October 24 to 26, 2011.
