IACUC
Purpose
The NAVC Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) was developed to oversee the care and use of animal use as required by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
The events involved are:
- NAVC Conference (held annually in January)
- NAVC Institute (held annually in May, June)
USDA Registration
The NAVC has its own USDA Class R Research Facility Certificate (Certificate No. 58-R-0142; Customer No. 322245) which expires December 8, 2012.
