Laurel A. Kaddatz, DVM

Dr. Laurel Kaddatz is a companion animal practitioner and co-owner of the Pound Ridge Veterinary Center in Pound Ridge New York. Dr. Kaddatz received his DVM in 1977 from the University of Minnesota and completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Cornell University. Dr. Kaddatz is active in organized veterinary medicine at the local, regional and state levels. As a member of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, he has chaired many committees and served as President in 2000 and was the General Chairman of the NY2K Veterinary Conference in 2002. He received Veterinarian of the Year honors from the NYSVMS in 2002. Dr. Kaddatz served on and was chair of the AVMA’s Council on Veterinary Service as well as having been a member and vice-chair of the Governance Performance Review Committee. He currently serves as alternate delegate to the AVMA House of Delegates from New York. He was also appointed the AVMA Assembly Members to WSAVA by the AVMA Executive Board in 2012. Dr. Kaddatz was elected to the NAVC Board of Directors in 2005.
