The Asia Pacific Veterinary Conference (APVC) is jointly organized by the North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC) and the Post Graduate Foundation in Veterinary Science-Mahidol University (PGF-VSMU), which will be held the October 10-12, 2012 in Bangkok Thailand, one of the most favorite travel destinations in Asia.
The mission of the Asia Pacific Veterinary Conference (APVC) is to bring the best of veterinary science in the same NAVC standard to the audience in Asia by organizing state-of-the-art continuing educational programs that can be applied to animal health practice in all regions. Forty renowned speakers from the United States, Europe and Asia will be selected by the NAVC & PGF-VSMU to speak in plenary sessions and over 10 concurrent parallel streams during APVC 2012. APVC features a myriad of vibrant topics and training for every practitioner, technician, practice manager, or staff associate.
APVC in October 2012 will be held in conjunction with Asia's top trade fair for the pet and animal health industry, veterinary supplies and equipment PET-VET ASIA Expo organized jointly by the PGF-VSMU and VNU Exhibitions Europe from the Netherlands, the organizer of Asia's most international exhibition VIV ASIA for the livestock industry (www.vivasia.nl) which attracts over 20,000 visitors from more than 100 countries to Bangkok and by this noble initiative will create the first all inclusive platform for the companion animal health industry in Asia Pacific.
Three other major events will also be held in conjunction during the same period. The 5th Asian Federation of Laboratory Animal Science Associations Congress (AFLAS 2012), the 6th Thai Association for Laboratory Animal Science Congress (TALAS 2012) and the 5th Meeting of the Asian Society of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine. These combined events will be attended by 3000 internaitonal Attendees from over 30 countries.
