Delta

If you are traveling by air, the NAVC Conference 2012 has negotiated with Delta Air Lines and its Exclusive Discount Program special rates for registrants with eligible itineraries and fares. If you are flying Delta Airlines to the NAVC Conference 2012, click on the button below to see if your itinerary qualifies for a discounted rate. If you would like to schedule your airline arrangements over the phone, call 1-800-328-1111 for reservation and ticketing assistance--you must refer to your Ticket Designator NY2CU to purchase your tickets and apply your negotiated discount.


To use the Delta discount, once on the Delta website:

1. Click on the "Book a Trip" tab and fill in your travel dates, cities etc.

2. Click "Meeting Event Discount" in the lower right corner. This will take you to the next page where you must enter the Meeting Event Code (NY2CU) in the appropriate box, then click "Find Flights".

3. Next choose flights and proceed to purchase, the airfare quoted will include the appropriate discount. Most airfares are discountable however the base airfare (without tax) must be less than $125.00 each way to be further discounted.

United Airlines

If you would like to travel via United Airlines, take advantage of the specially negotiated NAVC rates! You may book your airline reservation online by entering the following promotion code: 586NK. You may also make your reservations by phone by calling 1-800-521-4041 from 8:00-10:00 PM Monday-Friday (except holidays). You must provide the promotion code to the reservation agent to ensure you receive the discount.

TRANSPORTATION AROUND ORLANDO

For transportation from the Orlando International Airport to your hotel, choose from an airport shuttle service, taxicabs or rental car.

Conference Shuttle Service
 
Almost all attendees use the complimentary Conference Shuttle Bus service to and from Conference hotels or you park at the NAVC overflow parking lot for a small fee and ride the Conference shuttle to the host hotels. To ride the Conference Shuttle, download the Mears Shuttle Coupon.
 

Car Rental

If you wish to rent a vehicle, the NAVC Conference has negotiated special rates with Hertz Car Rental. Please reference discount number #02GU0013 when making reservations.
 
Parking

Parking at the host hotels (Gaylord Palms, Orlando World Center Marriott and the Caribe Royale) is extremely limited and costly. Overflow parking will be located at the Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration, 2900 Parkway Boulevard, Kissimmee, FL 34747. Look for "NAVC Overflow Parking" Signs. Parking will be complimentary only on Friday, January 13, 2012. The Park and Ride Fee from Saturday, January 14, 2012 through Wednesday, January 18, 2012 is $5.00 per day.

All attraction tickets are shipped via Federal Express and signature is required upon delivery. Terrific 2012 Tour orders will receive a tour confirmation email (within 3 business days from submission date). A copy of this confirmation is required to board buses and for admittance to all tours. All tour buses depart from the Gaylord Palms Resort Convention Entrance.

NAVC Conference offers over 1,300 hours of Continuing Education for the veterinary professional.

Each registrant for the full 5-day Conference will receive 45.5 hours of CE. 10 hours are available for a 1-Day Registration. Each 50-minute lecture provides 1 hour of CE Credit. CE credits for Hands-on Laboratories, Meet the Professor Luncheons and Masterclasses are calculated by the number of hours for each.

The NAVC Conference is AAVSB-RACE approved provider # 172.

Each registrant will receive a blank "Record of Participation" form in the conference bag. This will help you track the sessions and workshops you attended. In addition, your name badge will track your attendance electronically - all you have to do is tap your badge at the door. CE Certificates are available on-site at the NAVC Service Center kiosks or on our website after you leave the Conference.

KiddieCorp will be providing childcare programs at the Gaylord Palms and the Orlando World Center Marriott. Your kids will enjoy age appropriate themed events, arts and crafts, group games, music and movement, board games, stories, dramatic play and more. A relaxation zone also offers quieter activities and books. Infants and toddlers will have their own toys, blocks, and activity centers; and their usual napping schedule will be followed to the extent possible.

Childcare hours are from 7:30 AM-6:00 PM. The fee is $10 per hour per child.
